Are you a hospitality leader with a passion for premium spirits and unforgettable guest journeys? This is your chance to lead the front-of-house operations at an award-winning, family-owned distillery nestled in the heart of Angus. Renowned for its sustainably crafted spirits and innovation-driven approach, this growing brand is seeking a Distillery Experience Manager to elevate every aspect of its visitor experience.
As Distillery Experience Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the distillery’s visitor centre - overseeing daily operations, leading a dedicated team, and delivering memorable tours, tastings, and events. You’ll work closely with marketing and retail teams to grow the brand, boost revenue, and provide top-tier hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Operations
·Deliver exceptional, professional tours, tastings, and events
·Manage bookings, health & safety, staffing, and logistics
·Keep the retail space welcoming, stocked, and on-brand
·Drive visitor numbers and retail/event sales
·Work with marketing on campaigns and seasonal promotions
·Set and smash commercial targets
·Recruit, train, and motivate guides and event staff
·Champion high standards, collaboration, and enthusiasm
·Ensure a 5-star visitor experience every time
·Handle feedback gracefully and proactively
Finance & Strategy
·Monitor KPIs and budgets to maximise profitability
·Use data to continually improve performance
Marketing Support
·Collaborate on content for socials, newsletters & PR
·Represent the distillery at festivals and trade events
·Proven experience in tourism, hospitality, or visitor attraction management
·Strong leadership and communication skills
·Commercially savvy with budget and target experience
·Passion for premium spirits and guest experience
·Experience in the whisky, gin, or drinks industry
·Event planning know-how
·Local tourism network connections
