About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete all Reactive Works orders and PPMs within the specified SLAs & KPIs.
2. Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of the contract.
3. Support the implementation of an integrated approach to service delivery, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
4. Provide on-call cover approximately 1 week in 8.
5. Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance, responding promptly to breakdowns.
6. Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and related tasks.
7. Assist with other facilities tasks as needed.
8. Provide quotations for recommended works.
9. Follow safety procedures before starting work activities.
10. Ensure work is carried out properly and sites are maintained to high standards.
11. Offer general handyman services, including L8 compliance.
12. Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective site management.
Essential Hiring Criteria
* Experienced fabric engineer with a maintenance background.
* Skills in carpentry, painting, door hanging, flooring repairs, glazing, masonry, locksmithing, tiling, and ceiling grid installation.
* L8 ACOP certification.
* Knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
* Legionella awareness.
* CSCS card or equivalent qualification.
* First Aid certification.
* Valid driving license.
* Basic IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
