Swimming Teacher
Are you a qualified Swim Teacher looking for a new opportunity?
As part of the Aquatics team, working across North Lanarkshire’s Swimming Pools, you will ensure the safe and effective operation of the swimming lesson programme, teach, and develop appropriate lessons for groups and individuals to meet the needs of each level within the Scottish Swimming’s Learn to Swim Framework.
Responsibilities
Operate the swimming lesson programme safely and effectively; teach and develop lessons for groups and individuals to meet the needs of each level within the Learn to Swim Framework.
Qualifications
* Minimum qualification: Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification (SSTQ) Level 1 or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a leisure facility/environment.
* Understanding of health and safety requirements within the leisure industry.
* Excellent communication and customer care skills; ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to comply with flexible hours related to the programme.
* Must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing.
Location and Working Pattern
Location: Time Capsule, Coatbridge
Working Pattern: Monday 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Tuesday 9am to 6.15pm, Wednesday 9am to 6.45pm, Thursday 9.15am to 7.15pm and Friday 9.15am to 6.15pm
