We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of all aspects of US GAAP across a regional entity portfolio within a global, US-led manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead a high-performing team and act as the primary finance partner across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical accounting, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading, coaching and developing a finance team, including recruitment, performance management and career progression.
* Ensuring accurate monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations in line with US GAAP and internal timetables.
* Managing cash flow, currency holdings, supplier and payroll payments, and maintaining clean vendor/customer accounts.
* Serving as the primary contact for internal audits and driving timely, efficient resolution of queries.
* Managing relationships with an Asia-based shared service centre and other outsourced providers.
* Leading process alignment and continuous improvement across the European finance function.
* Producing cost centre reporting for senior leadership and supporting ad-hoc corporate finance initiatives.
What we're looking for:
* 5+ years' experience in accounting/finance, ideally within a US-led multinational.
* Proven people management skills and experience overseeing outsourced service providers.
* Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
* SAP experience.
* International/European exposure, with manufacturing sector experience preferred.
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA
* Advanced Excel skills and a confident, organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
