About the Role: As a Primary Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the specific needs of each child. You will create a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. You will need to: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Key Stage 1. Differentiate the curriculum to ensure every child is challenged and supported in their learning. Build strong relationships with pupils, creating an inclusive and positive classroom culture. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management, fostering a focused learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress, concerns, and achievements. Contribute to the school’s ethos by participating in staff meetings, school events, and collaborative planning sessions. The Successful Candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, including planning and delivering lessons effectively. A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate and tailor lessons to suit individual learning styles. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, respectful learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents. A passion for inspiring young children and encouraging their academic and personal development. A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with educational practices and trends. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
