Job Description
As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of electronic products before they reach customers. You\'ll be involved in the full test process — from planning and setup through to diagnosis and reporting — helping to maintain high-quality standards across all electronic assemblies and units.
Responsibilities
* Setting up and running tests on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
* Checking product performance against test criteria and documenting results.
* Investigating faults, carrying out rework, and supporting problem-solving activities.
* Assisting in the introduction of new products to test and supporting production teams.
* Maintaining and improving test equipment and procedures.
* Working closely with colleagues in manufacturing, quality, and design to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
This Test Engineer position offers a mix of hands-on technical work, teamwork, and opportunities to improve testing processes across the business.
Skills & Experience
* HNC or above in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline.
* Previous experience in an electronics testing, production, or repair environment.
* Comfortable using standard test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
* Able to read and understand circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
* Willingness to learn and develop within a growing engineering environment.
