Atlas Workplace Services has a great opportunity for a Contract Manager, with experience in Hard & Soft Services, to join our team based on our client's site in Chiswick with occasional travel to Knowsley.
The Contract Manager is responsible for the P&L, operational management, and delivery of a range of facilities management services across the client's estate, ensuring safety, suitability, and full operational capacity in line with client and customer expectations, as well as Atlas's high standards. This includes overseeing customer interfaces and maintaining a positive image of the Atlas business.
The Contract Manager will lead and manage a motivated team, demonstrating excellent communication, decision-making, and approachable people management skills, with extensive knowledge of delivering high-standard facilities management services.
They will also drive operational improvements to foster strong client relationships and ensure exceptional customer service levels are maintained.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Operational delivery of M&E services for the national property portfolio under the client's account.
* Maintaining effective client relationships at all levels.
* Full P&L responsibility for approximately £800k account, including variable and project works.
* Ensuring contract compliance and timely delivery of all contractual obligations.
* Maintaining statutory compliance across buildings and managing remedial actions.
* Embedding Group Health & Safety policies into daily operations, challenging unacceptable behavior.
* Delivering and monitoring cultural and health & safety training.
* Identifying and arranging relevant team training to add value to the business.
* Managing employee appraisals, personal development, and succession planning.
* Providing technical advice or engaging specialists/subcontractors as needed.
* Using reports and data for sound business decisions, managing budgets, controlling costs, and owning the account's profit and loss, forecasting, and budgets.
* Producing management information for customers and internal reviews.
* Supporting wider engineering and compliance teams.
* Building relationships with stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives.
* Managing recruitment processes to ensure staffing levels and qualifications meet needs.
* Proactively seeking opportunities for account growth.
* Ensuring timely and accurate timesheet submissions, reviewing overtime requests.
* Performing additional tasks as requested by senior management.
About You
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training
* GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
* IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Proven experience in company policy and procedure management.
* Background in engineering service delivery, understanding of SFG20 requirements.
* Experience managing corporate customer relationships, report production, and review meetings.
