Job Description:
Hays Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a primary or secondary school student in Bristol. This is a part-time position, with morning hours only, providing tailored support to an individual student. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will help the students with their learning and development, fostering a positive, supportive environment that meets their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to a student, helping them with their academic tasks and personal development.
* Assist the student with specific learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their full participation in class activities.
* Support the students in their emotional, social, and behavioural development, promoting confidence and independence.
* Liaise with teachers to ensure the student's progress and well-being are monitored and supported.
* Assist with in-class activities and provide additional help where required.
* Help prepare resources and materials to support the student's learning experience.
