About you: Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (actively studying and progressing) Previous experience in a finance role within practice or industry Good understanding of accounting fundamentals, including month-end processes and reconciliations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Motivated to learn, develop, and progress within a finance career Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment What you'll do: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors where required Support month-end close processes including journals, accruals, and prepayments Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls Provide financial support to wider business functions Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements Support grant funding applications and interdepartmental financial processes For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact us for a confidential chat today.
