Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of automation and control projects across multiple data centre sites in the London region.
* Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of PLC/SCADA control systems (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider platforms).
* Manage ongoing service contracts, ensuring uptime, resilience, and compliance with data centre standards.
* Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to project and service engineers.
* Develop automation strategies that improve system performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.
* Act as a key client interface, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Required Experience:
* Proven background managing automation or control system projects within data centres, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
* Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across project delivery and service operations.
* Excellent client-facing and commercial management skills.
* Strong technical foundation in system integration, commissioning, and controls design.
* Ability to work autonomously, make confident decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
