We are responsible for the online face of the business and help fans discover and buy tickets they cannot miss out on.In addition to our core Live Nation sites, we support and manage over 200 festival and venue websites. These operate independently within our framework, allowing autonomy while ensuring we meet their technical and business needs.## THE JOBThis role involves working within an agile software engineering team, covering the full lifecycle of development activities from planning through to delivery. You will help ensure the efficiency, reliability, and quality of all components and features developed, while responding quickly to changing requirements that contribute to Live Nation succeeding in its marketplace.As our business operates online 24/7, you may occasionally be required to work out of hours or participate in an on-call rota.## **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING*** Writing reliable and maintainable code that conforms to our development standards* Using TDD to drive code design* Designing, developing, and maintaining relational database structures and schemas* Creating and optimising SQL queries, stored procedures, and views* Applying appropriate design patterns* Using defensive coding techniques to minimise errors and security issues* Deploying applications to the cloud using AWS* Developing websites and APIs for the Live Nation platform* Collaborating with the product team to write high quality user stories* Writing automated tests to support continuous delivery (ATDD)* Running code reviews and managing merge requests* Practising clean coding principles, OOP, KISS, DRY, YAGNI* Participating in a 24/7 on-call support rota and occasionally working out of hours## **YOU*** Proven years of development experience using C#, .NET Core, and SQL* Have knowledge of Databricks or similar data warehouse technologies* Enjoy writing clean, maintainable code* Have a good understanding of SOLID principles* Enjoy working in an agile environment* Cooperate well with colleagues, communicate clearly, and adapt to change* Are a creative problem solver who enjoys technical challenges## ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONA job description is a written statement of the essential characteristics of a job, outlining its principal responsibilities and the skills, knowledge, and experience required to perform effectively.
