Over the next 3 to 4 years, we will be undertaking heavy construction and civil engineering works across various industrial fronts, starting with enabling works in Q3: 2025. The Package Engineer Role
As a vital member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:
* Oversee the design, coordination, and management of multiple subcontractors across various trades.
* Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, and Client agents.
* Ensure SRM's obligations to subcontractors are clearly understood and met.
* Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Keep the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director updated on all relevant issues.
Your Profile
We’re looking for candidates who:
* Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Can prepare a 3-week look-ahead programme with the assistance of a project planner.
* Have proven experience in package management.
* Possess experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (advantageous).
* Are knowledgeable about building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
* Are working towards or have a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, IStructE).
