Care Assistant – Locations & Shift
Work location: Marylebone, Camden Town, Harlesden, Cricklewood (London).
Shifts: 2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm, seven days a week.
Responsibilities
* Follow individual care plans and assist with personal care (bath, dressing, toileting, medication).
* Help clients with practical tasks such as shopping, mealtimes, housework, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
* Assist with mobility support, use of aids/adaptations, transfers, walking support.
* Prepare and administer medication as per care plan guidelines.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to prevent loneliness and distress.
* Prepare meals and snacks, assist with feeding if required.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and changes in condition.
* Monitor and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition.
* Ensure safety and emergency response, recognising hazards.
* Collaborate with other care team members, healthcare professionals, and family members.
* Assist with housekeeping: light cleaning, tidying, laundry.
* Encourage social inclusion, participation in community activities.
