Pay & Hours:
We offer a rate of £12.71 per hour for our Shop Supervisors. The working week is 30 hours over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for advancement.
You will assist the Shop Manager in the daily operations, supervise the team, increase sales, control costs, and develop the shop team to build a loyal customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
* Receive and check deliveries.
* Manage stock and produce.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
* Ensure food quality and presentation.
* Operate tills and handle cash.
* Assist with opening and closing the shop.
* Run shifts at various times.
* Drive sales and minimize wastage.
* Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
* Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
