Overview
Lead Clinician to manage the in-house Clinical Team at 3 Dimensions School. Work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role combines clinical leadership of the team with delivery of therapeutic interventions, coordinating whole-school and bespoke clinically informed approaches for pupils with complex profiles of need related to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH needs. A primary focus is meeting the needs of EHCP plans in a target-led, school-wide, clinically informed operating model. The post holder will coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team and help drive service development of the school-based clinical service with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead. Our clinical teams uphold a person-centred, empowering approach focused on the pupils, safeguarding, and involving pupils in decisions that affect them.
Location: 3 Dimensions - Somerset TA20 3AJ. 3 Dimensions forms part of the Options Autism brand and is an independent specialist day school supporting pupils aged 7–25.
Responsibilities
* Lead the in-house Clinical Team and coordinate line management of team members.
* Collaborate with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to embed whole-school and bespoke clinically informed approaches and interventions.
* Coordinate and monitor delivery of clinically informed interventions for pupils with complex needs related to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH.
* Ensure focus on EHCP plans and working within a target-led framework across all clinical activities (group, individual, and school-wide approaches).
* Support service development of the school-based clinical service in partnership with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Maintain safeguarding culture and ensure pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions affecting them.
Qualifications
* Qualified Practitioner Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Psychotherapist (at least level 7).
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Knowledge and understanding of EHCPs.
* Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and within a growing, developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
