We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line Support Engineer to join our growing IT team. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting users, and being the first point of contact for technical issues, this role gives you the perfect platform to develop your skills and progress your IT career.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all IT support queries via phone, email, and ticketing system
* Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to users of all technical levels
* Log, prioritise, and escalat incidents to the 2nd Line Support Engineer where appropriate
* Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues
* Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and user accounts
* Support with ordering, procurement, inventor tracking & asset management
Qualifications
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
* A genuine interest in IT and technology
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* Experience using a ticketing/helpdesk system (desirable)
* Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
* The ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* A positive, team‑oriented attitude and willingness to learn
