SEN Teacher Role – Key Details:
📍 Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
📅 Start date: September
📚 Subjects: Core subjects (English, Maths, Science preferred)
👨🏫 Teaching: Students aged 11–19 (KS3 – KS5)
🧑🏫 Personal Tutor for students with EHCPs
📝 Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
🤝 Collaborate closely with support staff and SLT
⏰ Full-time, long-term role (with potential for permanent placement)
About You – SEN Teacher Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
✅ Strong SEN experience, ideally in a specialist setting
✅ Knowledge of EHCPs and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs
✅ Excellent communication, behaviour, and time management skills
✅ Specialism in English, Maths, or Science is desirable
✅ Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
✅ Right to work in the UK
