As a well established, trusted local name, we're now on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Blind Fitter/Surveyor to join our expert team.
Previous experience installing blinds or shutter preferred. Transferrable skills such as a strong background in various construction-related skills will be considered. This role requires the candidate to be able to install a wide range of window treatments with precision and care excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
* Measure and assess windows to determine the appropriate window treatment solutions.
* Install various types of window treatments, including blinds and shutters ensuring proper fit and functionality.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for suitable products.
* Perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed during the installation process.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
* Will have at least 2 years experience surveying or installing blinds or shutters.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to installation tasks.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and understanding their requirements.
