Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Gateshead

Pay: £90–£105 per day (PAYE)

We’re looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Gateshead area. You’ll be supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, helping them engage in lessons, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting class teachers with learning activities and targeted interventions
2. Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils needing extra help
3. Helping create a calm, inclusive classroom environment
4. Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual needs
What we’re looking for:
5. Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
6. Strong understanding of classroom routines
7. Warm, patient, and proactive attitude
8. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is a bonus
