Location: Harrogate / Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office

The Role
The Certinia Product Management team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our Resource Management area in a rapidly changing AI world. Working closely with our product leads you will strongly influence our strategy and roadmap by presenting convincing, well‑researched opportunities and helping define how we can pursue and execute on these. We are looking for a disruptive thinker who readily shares ideas and who is capable of challenging opinions to inspire innovation. You will thrive on learning new skills and becoming fluent with AI tooling, analytics and telemetry. You will be able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and inspiring solutions using new and evolving technologies. You will be capable of leading conversations and building trust with strategic customers, responding to their priorities while balancing these against Certinia’s own business goals. As a Senior Product Manager you will play a key role in coaching other Resource Management PMs and challenging them to think critically about the solutions they are working on. You will also need to contribute to the best practices of our wider Product Management team and be a driving force in establishing and implementing best practices. You will proactively make connections with the rest of the business (Solution Engineers, Consultants, Customer Operations, etc.) helping answer their queries and sharing product knowledge to set them up for success.
What You Will Do in This Role
* Work closely with Product Leaders, Customers and Competitive Intelligence to understand how our resource management capabilities can remain competitive in an AI world.
* Help to envision a roadmap to drive the work we are doing and articulate our direction to our customers.
Release Planning & Delivery
* Research and prioritize release requirements through discussions and formal elicitation methods, including internal stakeholder ideas, meetings, interviews, competitive analysis, advisory boards and telemetry.
* Work with key internal stakeholders and your development team to participate in the launch of new releases and its deployment.
* Coordinate with Engineering Managers, Release Managers, Product Managers responsible for each of our products, and User experience through each of the steps from planning to release delivery and updates to existing customers.
* Collaborate closely with other product managers and product strategy managers to shape the product prioritization and roadmap, including taking suggestions and ideas from prospects & customers.
* Breakdown high level objectives to define the key epics and ensure these are represented in each release planning cycle across all related products.
* Own the PM responsibility for ensuring that features are ready to ship, according to the product team readiness criteria and checklist.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Frequent interactions with our key stakeholders to gain an understanding of their top issues, how our solution addresses their processes, feature gaps and opportunities for improvement.
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role
* 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager of a commercial grade product such as business applications and/or SaaS applications/commercial software.
* Strong understanding of technologies and technology platform concepts.
* Experience with AI tools such as Google Gemini and Notebook LM.
* A keen eye for data and metrics and full understanding of how they contribute to better decision making in all key business areas.
* A clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our solution/s.
* Ensure you have a good understanding of the end‑user requirements so that you can prioritize and drive out the product requirements.
* Manage and improve the user experience of our applications working with our UX team.
* Possess exceptional product design, communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience working in an Agile environment and leading an engineering team.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Global mindset.
* Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
* Fluent English communication skills to interact with our global workforce.
What Else Would Be Great
* Previous experience working on ERP/PSA solutions and/or cloud platforms is highly desirable.
* Previous experience of building AI solutions.
* Previous experience of using Claude Code.
* Coaching/mentoring experience.
