Commercial & Intellectual Property Lawyer – Manager Level

This firm’s commercial & IP group advises a broad client base, ranging from early-stage start-ups to global corporations across a variety of sectors. The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a Commercial & IP Lawyer to join the team at manager level. You will support a range of non-contentious legal matters, including commercial contracts, IP structuring, due diligence and group reorganisations. The role combines legal expertise with commercial insight and offers a great platform for those keen to develop client relationships, take the lead on matters, and contribute to wider business development efforts.
Requirements
* 4–6 years’ PQE
* Qualified in England & Wales (or other UK jurisdiction), or with substantial experience practising in England & Wales
* Experience advising on non-contentious IP matters and drafting/negotiating commercial contracts
* Commercially minded with strong drafting and communication skills
* Interested in building client relationships and contributing to business development
* Enthusiastic about working on technically complex legal projects
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on a wide range of IP and commercial law matters, including licensing, franchising and IP due diligence
* Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
* Collaborate with internal IP and commercial experts to support IP structuring and commercialisation
* Assist on major group reorganisations and evaluate client contracts for risk and improvement
* Lead projects and act as a key contact for clients, while supporting on work-winning initiatives
