Overview
This is a full-time role working night shifts from 8pm to 8am for 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required. Location: Woodthorpe Lodge, Loughborough LE11 2ER.
In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to residents, who are people with their own stories to tell.
Being a Night Manager means taking responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care, and, when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent, running the entire operation. You’ll work with resident dignity and well-being in mind at all times.
You will have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults. Beyond that, it’s about your positive energy and ability to get along with people. This role requires real accountability and a consistently kind and considerate communication style with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas, and to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
