We're looking for a Bid Manager – Renewables to lead high-value, complex bids across a diverse portfolio of low-carbon and energy solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a growing, purpose-driven energy business, delivering projects that genuinely impact sustainability and carbon reduction across the UK.
You'll be joining a centralised, high-performing bid function, working across multiple specialist business units delivering a broad range of energy and technical solutions.

What You'll Be Doing in the newly created role You'll take full ownership of the end-to-end bid lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive submissions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing bids from qualification through to submission and contract award
Coordinating cross-functional inputs (technical, commercial, financial, HSEQ)
Developing compelling, customer-focused proposals
Leading pricing strategy, value engineering, and financial modelling
Maintaining and evolving a high-quality bid library
Delivering pipeline reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis
Conducting win/loss reviews to continuously improve performance
Supporting contract negotiations alongside commercial and legal teams
Ensuring seamless handover to delivery teams post-award
Bid value's can range from £200k to £200 million
What We're Looking For You'll be a confident, highly organised bid professional with a track record of delivering results in complex environments.
Essential experience:
Proven success managing bids in sectors such as renewables, engineering, utilities, construction, or technical FM
Strong project management skills, managing multiple bids simultaneously
Ability to influence stakeholders across technical and senior levels
Commercial awareness, including pricing, P&L, and bid budgeting
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
APMP or equivalent bid/project management qualification
Passion for sustainability and the energy transition
