Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Contract – 6 month FTC initially
Location: North Worcestershire
Rate of Pay: PAYE £33.43ph, Umbrella £45ph (DOE £64,000pa)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30 (37 hrs a week)
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with Bromsgrove and Redditch Council on a contract basis initially.
Responsibilities
* Develop appropriate contract documentation
* Procure goods, services and works contracts across Housing Property Services
* Measure and value works, prepare interim payments and final accounts, and generate all necessary project-related financial reports
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in the Construction Industry, covering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Proven experience in budget management (revenue, capital and external funding sources)
* Valid UK driving licence
