We have a fantastic opportunity at Thames Water where you will be part of a team responding to the Environment Agency (EA) across a variety of communication mediums.
Regulatory Information Specialist
* Critically review draft correspondence to EA and support continuous improvement of processes.
* Work closely with the Team’s Manager to address identified development needs and lead on high‑profile regulatory submissions such as Compliance Assessment Report (CAR) and Schedule 5 Part B.
* Support Advisors to chair and facilitate internal meetings, share responsibility of attending stakeholder meetings and act as a delegate in the Manager’s absence.
Working environment
* Hybrid role: 1–2 days a week from our office in Reading, RG1 8DB.
* Salary of £52,050 dependant on experience, with the ability to travel across Thames Water area for training and team building.
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* Experience in Environmental Compliance, risk, assurance or audit capacity is essential.
* Strong knowledge of Environmental Legislation and the Environment Agency’s guidance.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and professional writing skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) and SharePoint skills.
Preferred Qualities
* Experience in wastewater or clean water processes.
* Previous experience working with legal privilege.
