Hippo Digital is recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team. This is a client facing role where you’ll work across a variety of platforms and cloud‑based solutions to ensure our clients’ environments are robust, scalable and high performing. You will work alongside like‑minded, talented engineers, shaping cloud‑native systems that our customers can rely on.
Hippo’s Senior Engineers are experts in their field. You will act as a Senior Consultant, providing technical expertise internally and to our clients. You will support technical deliverables, maintain client relationships, and be passionate about developing yourself and others.
Our solutions empower customers to build and support secure, scalable, and well‑engineered systems. We leverage deep data insights and continuous innovation to deliver platforms that allow our customers to get the most from their digital services. Our Managed Services team are key to supporting the systems we develop on an ongoing basis.
Please note we are looking for candidates who are looking for growth at the Senior level; therefore, the advertised salary band represents the entry point for this level, allowing for clear progression within the role.
There is an on‑call requirement as part of our Managed Services Team. All applicants must be willing to be part of the rota.

We are headquartered in Leeds and have offices across the UK in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Bristol. We’re on the lookout for top talent nationwide but you need to be located within reasonable travelling distance from one of our offices which will be your contracted office location. Given the dynamic nature of a consulting business, you may be required to work on‑site at a Hippo office or at an in/out of town client location for a number of days per week (client dependent) and therefore candidates will need to be open/flexible to travel.
