We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for 28.75 hours per week in term time plus INSET days to join our friendly and supportive team. The hours will be 8.45am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, with one hour unpaid for lunch.
As with other roles in the school, this post involves regular contact with children and staff and therefore the successful candidate needs to be able to relate well to children and adults alike. A sense of humour is a MUST, as well as a ‘common-sense’ approach to the job and the ability to show initiative and adapt to any situation that may arise.
In order to be shortlisted for interview and subsequently appointed, applicants MUST demonstrate a secure understanding of these expectations, along with relevant experience on the application form and at interview:

8. Confidence in occasionally covering Class Teachers PPA time
9. Experience of teaching high quality interventions
10. Initiative to support and stretch learning within the classroom
