Position Details:
* Contract Type: Temporary
* Salary: £16.40
* Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
* Dress Code: Office casual
Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant/SSC Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely financial information while maintaining a robust control environment. Your key duties will include:
* Supporting the Financial Accountant with the Monthly Close Process
* Acting as the finance liaison with the External Shared Service Centre for both AP and AR ledgers
* Participating in weekly calls as the finance representative for AR Cash Collection activities
* Managing the AP On Hold report to ensure a seamless procure-to-pay process
* Keeping the AP/AR ledgers clean and providing wider finance support
* Assisting with cash forecast preparation and recording of actuals
* Running the Internal Intra-Netting process
* Processing ad hoc invoices/credit notes and employee expenses in the ERP system
* Creating Manual & BACS Payment runs
* Assisting with external audit information requests
* Carrying out any reasonable duty as instructed by your manager to help achieve the organisation's goals
What You Bring:
We are looking for candidates who are immediately available and possess the following qualifications:
* Strong knowledge and experience with AP and AR ledgers
* A keen aptitude for learning new tasks and processes
* Proficient Excel skills
* Willingness to work in our Birkenhead office from Monday to Friday
