About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Ophthalmology (Insourcing), you'll deliver high-quality care during scheduled weekend or evening sessions.
Responsibilities
10. Delivering specialist clinical services in line with NHS standards
11. Supporting patient flow and reducing waiting lists
12. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
13. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
What We're Looking For
14. Essential:
15. MBBS or equivalent medical degree
16. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
17. Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS, FRCOphth, FRCA)
18. A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
19. UK Right to Work
20. Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
21. CCT in Ophthalmology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
