Care Manager - Domiciliary Care - Swindon
Care Connection, a division of The Best Connection are looking for an Experienced Care Manager for our client, this is a permanent role with a Domiciliary Care Provider in Swindon.
Previous experience within a Care Manager, Branch Manager, or Registered Manager role is essential to be successful in this role!
Job Specification
The Care Manager will support the Registered Manager in the overall management and daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality person-centred care to clients within Learning Disabilities and Home Care services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, managing care packages, and ensuring excellent standards of care are delivered at all times.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care branch and care services
* Support and supervise care staff and care coordinators
* Ensure all care is delivered in line with CQC standards, company policies, and best practice
* Carry out client assessments, care plan reviews, risk assessments, and spot checks
* Manage staff rotas, care schedules, and service delivery
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
* Monitor the quality of care and implement improvements where required
* Support recruitment, induction, training, and staff development
* Assist with safeguarding, incident reporting, complaints, and investigations
* Promote dignity, independence, choice, and person-centred care
* Support the growth and development of the service
Previous experience within a Care Manager, Branch Manager, or Registered Manager role
Salary
£29,000 - £31,000 per annum
