Pay Type: Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Location: London Hybrid- 40% onsite per month
Our well established financial client are seeking an experienced, SC Cleared CrowdStrike Deployment Engineer to support their Cyber Engineering team in the deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon across enterprise Servers and endpoints. This role will play a key part in the engineering-led rollout to cloud Servers and containerised environments, ensuring a secure, scalable, and well-governed implementation.
Responsibilities
* Deploy CrowdStrike Falcon across in-scope endpoints and Servers in cloud and hybrid environments
* Install and onboard Falcon sensors to target workloads
* Configure and manage Falcon policies, including:
o Threat Prevention (NGAV)
o Detection and Response (EDR/XDR)
o Sensor management, updates, and grouping policies
* Align host groups and security policies to organisational requirements
* Integrate CrowdStrike with identity and directory services to improve visibility and correlation
* Tune detection capabilities, including creation and refinement of custom detections (within agreed capacity)
* Integrate Falcon with SIEM/SOC platforms for alerting, event correlation, and centralised monitoring
* Enable and support response capabilities such as host containment and Real Time Response (RTR)
* Validate, test, and troubleshoot deployments through sample-based and advisory testing
* Produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer, including:
o Deployment architecture and policy design
o Operational runbooks for detection and response
o Structured handover sessions with relevant teams
Qualifications
* Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
* Proven hands-on experience deploying and engineering CrowdStrike Falcon
* Strong background in endpoint and server security across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid estates
* Experience integrating security tooling with SIEM/SOC environments
* Comfortable working with engineering teams on complex security deployments
* Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills
