Information technology procurement manager

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing across all phases (market analysis, RFP, evaluation, negotiation, contracts) for regional and global initiatives.
• Act as SME across IT (HW, SW, cloud, ITO, BPO), with strong knowledge of global suppliers and Tier 1 experience (CH, UK, global).
• Support BCV (analysis, insights, pipeline creation) and drive AVC (quick wins, sourcing pipeline, stakeholder alignment, execution).
• Engage senior IT leadership (CIO level), lead discussions, influence decisions, and represent IT expertise.
• Lead and mentor sourcers, ensuring process adherence and capability development.
• Work with legal, finance, compliance, SMEs, and global teams on complex deals.
• Ensure documentation quality, support sourcing tools, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Profile

• Deep expertise in IT Services, Software, Hardware, ITO, and BPO, with strong understanding of commercial models, SLAs, and benchmarking.
• Advanced negotiation skills (commercial & contractual) with experience in complex RFPs, multi-provider sourcing, and global supplier management.
• Strong communication skills with senior IT stakeholders; able to challenge and influence effectively.
• Full ownership of sourcing workstreams (incl. BCV/AVC); able to coordinate across functions and regions.
• High client focus, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in matrix environments.
