The Coating Supervisor is responsible for managing the team that applies protective and decorative layers to products or materials, ensuring that all coating processes meet company standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate should have exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of various coating processes and techniques. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in coating operations Inspect materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure team compliance Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production and processing problems Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment Train and manage staff in coating procedures and techniques Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working order Qualifications Proven experience as a Coating Supervisor or similar role Familiarity with coating techniques and machinery Understanding of quality control procedures and standards Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving abilities Professional certifications in Coating and Painting are a plus Must be able to obtain SC level of clearnace for site
