Computer Science Teacher – SEMH Secondary School (L25)
Full-Time Maternity Cover until February
A secondary SEMH school based in L25 is seeking a qualified and committed Computer Science Teacher to join its dedicated team. The successful candidate will take on a full-time maternity cover role, delivering high-quality teaching to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role
The appointed teacher will plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring learners to develop their skills and achieve recognised qualifications. They will tailor lessons to meet individual needs, supporting both academic progress and personal development. Collaboration with colleagues across year groups and nurture groups will be a key element of the position.
Candidate Profile
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) in Computer Science or a closely related subject (essential)
* Experience of working with pupils with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential
* Demonstrates a patient, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching
* Possesses strong classroom management skills focused on encouragement and positive reinforcement
* Committed to helping every student grow in confidence and succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
