Job overview
We are looking to recruit a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult CMHT based in Kings Lynn Covering West Norfolk with the possibility for a small amount of home working. The psychology and psychological therapies team in the CMHT has an exciting and vibrant skill mix including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, CAT therapists, Art therapists, DBT therapists, and CAPS.
The post holder would join this team and be responsible for providing assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. There would also be responsibilities in relation to providing supervision and service evaluation. There are opportunities for the post holder to support further therapy training to fit the needs of the service. In recent years this has included CBT, DBT, CAT, MDT and EMDR.

The successful applicant will hold their own caseload of clinical work. This will cover assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. They will be supervised by the 8B Clinical Psychologist and will have their own supervisory responsibilities for others in the team.
Psychology is well valued in the CMHT in West Norfolk and other duties will include working closely with the wider professions in the MDT. This successful applicant will have a job plan in line with BPS guidance which will incorporate time for CPD and learning as well as clinical duties.
