A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Design Engineer to join a specialist electronic engineering department, working on advanced and technically complex products across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake board-level electronic design including schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing and proving activities
* Design and develop analogue and digital electronic solutions to meet demanding technical requirements
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective system and sub-system integration
* Apply development techniques such as circuit simulation and DFMEA to ensure robust and reliable designs
* Support the product lifecycle from concept and feasibility through to transfer to production
* Contribute to industrial validation, quality assurance and compliance activities
* Support continuous improvement, research and capability development within the electronic engineering function
* At senior level, provide technical guidance, mentoring and leadership across electronic design activities
The ideal candidate would have:
* Experience in electronic design, development and delivery
* Exposure to board-level design across analogue and digital technologies
* Experience working across multiple stages of the product lifecycle
* Familiarity with complex or safety-critical engineering environments
* An interest in developing technical leadership responsibility
The ideal candidate must have:
* Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering organisation
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to manage technical challenges and priorities within project environments
