What we're looking for
We are looking for candidates who hold an undergraduate or master’s degree in subjects relevant to built heritage, building conservation, archaeology, or other relevant areas.
We seek graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem‑solving and communication skills
* Ability to use their own initiative and think outside the box
* An understanding of the UK planning system, British history and archaeology
Work experience in Heritage is advantageous but not essential; you’ll learn on the job within our Graduate Training Scheme.
Key responsibilities
As a Graduate Heritage Consultant, you will support a variety of projects concerning the historic built environment, including analysis of historic fabric, archaeological potential and setting. You will gain experience preparing heritage assessments, conducting research, and providing professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies across sectors.
