As a result of business expansion and new client wins our team is growing, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager role, to work with and develop the skills of the Contracts Management team and build on the ethos of good quality work delivered efficiently by our team
The ideal candidate will possess a focused and driven mindset, coupled with a can-do attitude and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. They should demonstrate decisive decision-making skills and a willingness to adapt to the evolving role as the company expands. They will be joining an already established and motivated team to bring additional technical expertise and to drive efficiency and standards in a position reporting to the directors and managing the companies operations.
Duties of the role include:
* Responsibility for oversight and management of the Contracts Management team, including holiday cover for management of ongoing projects
* Appraisal and feedback sessions with the team with goal setting and training plans
* Undertake regular, scheduled review meetings with the team to ensure work progression and efficient management of ongoing projects
* Monthly subcontractor WIP reviews
* Technical assistance where required
* Scheduling reviews to ensure thorough capturing of all associated works following leaks, fires, floods, storms etc. to minimise variations to the scheduled works
* Tender return pricing reviews
* Ensuring adherence to client requirements and SLA's through regular reviews of job progress and client portal management
* Monitoring job spend vs job value for interim invoice processing and progress checks
* Site visits alongside the Contracts Management team for large value/complex projects
* Implementing new and updating existing processes to support a consistent approach to job scheduling and job management
* Oversee training/monitoring of new starters
* Attending catch up meetings with clients alongside directors
* Training out new client philosophies and ensure adherence to these for new and existing clients
* Involvement in monthly office meetings and bi-weekly management catch up meetings
* Point of contact for clients
* Complaint escalation

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
