Salary: £29,039.70 per year plus paid overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 2-week shift rota (includes evenings and weekends)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in a prestigious and historic setting in central Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 37.5-hour working week and paid overtime available. You’ll be working as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality food in a well-organised, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
* Maintain a clean, allergy-safe section with minimal processed ingredients
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with planning and delivery
* Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organised
* Provide cover for senior chefs when required
* Comply with food hygiene and safety standards
About You
* City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 1 minimum
* Basic food hygiene certificate
* Previous experience in a busy kitchen
* Strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
* Flexible and reliable approach to work
