An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team managing a site in Aberystwyth, with an expected start in January 2026.
We are a Wrexham based construction company, with other sites currently in North West Wales, Mid Wales and Cheshire. We focus on building quality, high specification projects. We create new build houses and apartment blocks along with Health Care Centres and Residential Homes.
You will be fully responsible for the day to day management of a construction site, working under the Contracts Manager, to deliver an excellent product on time and on budget as part of a team who are constantly striving to consistently improve.
If you have experience of managing building sites, particularly new build, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Contracts Manager to effectively manage and monitor build plans, ensuring the projects meet customer, warranty and regulatory standards.
* Management of all sub-contractors and trades to ensure timely delivery of the project
* Ensure the site meets all safety requirements
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years site management experience as lead site manager on projects ranging from £500k to £10m in contract value in social housing projects, residential projects
* Strong leadership skills
* Coordinating subcontractors to ensure project progresses promptly
* Coordinating material and services supplies to site "just in time"
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
* Effective communication skills
