Location
We are looking for an Operational Delivery Manager to cover the South Yorkshire area in our Customer Field Services department within the Wastewater Service Delivery Business Unit. The role is a hybrid working arrangement, however, there will be an expectation that time will be spent working from the operational sites from where your team(s) operate.
Work Type
Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As part of the role, you will be required to participate in a standby rota.

As our Operational Delivery Manager, you will manage remote operational teams across a specific geographical area in the Yorkshire region, continuous improvement in customer service, deliver same‑day solutions for customers and environmental incidents, and conduct planned repair and maintenance activities on the wastewater network whilst delivering the asset plan for network maintenance to eliminate future escapes.
What Skills, Experience And Qualifications You Will Need
* Strong customer focus and dynamic people leadership with proven success in leading operational teams remotely in a busy operations environment.
* Experience managing day‑to‑day reactive workloads and a track record of achieving excellent performance against challenging targets.
* Experience of Health and Safety Management processes and procedures.
* H&S trained, preferably IOSH qualified.
* Experience in managing, leading and embedding change initiatives out in the field.
* Ability to performance manage and awareness of actions on performance measures (pollution, flooding, internal, external and stability and reliability).
* Proficient in IT with in‑depth knowledge of Microsoft applications.
* High levels of resilience, excellent written and communication skills.
* Identifying and solving issues in a timely and effective manner to ensure that network activity does not adversely impact network stability or customer service.
* Working co‑operatively, internally and externally to the team, focusing on collective goals.
* Proven ability to work in a busy environment and manage day‑to‑day reactive workloads.
* Full valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
* Participation in a standby rota.
