Multi-site SME services business in the North Wales region currently undergoing a period of change and transformation. This job will play a significant role in supporting the Managing Director, finance and wider central functions along this exciting journey for the business.
Your new role
Reporting to the MD and managing and developing a small team, you'll oversee the core accounting functions including accounts payable, month-end close, audit preparation activities and FP&A. You'll streamline existing reporting and controls and take responsibility for outsourcing the payroll process to a third party. Other duties will include implementation of the new ERP system, and providing strategic support for external contract negotiations.
What you'll need to succeed
1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who has previously operated at FC / Head of finance level within SME's.
2. Track record of driving process improvements and streamlining reporting and controls
3. Available to start immediately, or at short notice
