Chief Executive
We are seeking an experienced and values driven Chief Executive to lead a growing charity and deliver inclusive impact across Stockton-on-Tees.
Position: Chief Executive
Salary: £42,000 to £46,000 per annum plus 5% pension
Location: Stockton-on-Tees with some home working by agreement
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Condensed hours or part time considered, minimum 3 days per week
Contract: Permanent following 6 month probation
Responsible to: Board of Trustees, primarily the Chair
About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within a young organisation founded in 2021, now entering its next phase of consolidation and development.
You will lead a small team of fewer than 10 staff alongside volunteers and will be responsible for:
1. Leading the implementation of the organisation’s strategy
2. Working closely with the Board to support strong governance and periodic strategy review
3. Leading and developing staff and volunteers, ensuring supervision, appraisal and training
4. Embedding and promoting an inclusive culture internally and externally
5. Overseeing financial management, reporting, audit preparation and compliance
