Overview
Connex Education Partnership is seeking a detail-driven operations professional to support reporting, finance queries, and director-level coordination across the business. The role strengthens our data insight capability and helps maintain smooth, efficient processes for both internal teams and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Data, Reporting and Systems
* Build, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps to support Connex's operational and commercial performance.
* Ensure data accuracy across our systems, including CoreSTAR, so reporting can be relied upon for day-to-day decision-making.
* Analyse operational, financial, and service data to highlight emerging issues, risks, or anomalies.
* Work with internal teams to ensure reporting outputs are timely, clear, and aligned with business needs.
Finance and Invoice Management
* Manage incoming invoice queries from partner agencies and resolve discrepancies in a prompt, professional manner.
* Liaise with our internal finance and operations teams to ensure queries are closed off quickly and accurately.
* Maintain clear records of actions taken and keep stakeholders updated.
Executive Support
* Manage diaries for a small number of directors, coordinating meetings, agendas, and logistics.
* Anticipate requirements and help directors prioritise effectively during busy periods.
Operational Excellence
* Take full ownership of tasks, following them through to completion with accuracy and consistency.
* Proactively identify bottlenecks or risks within operational processes and surface these early.
* Support leaders across the business by providing structured data insight and practical solutions.
Skills and Experience
* Strong Excel capability (advanced formulas, data modelling, pivot tables, automation).
* Experience with Power BI/Power Apps, including building dashboards or workflow tools.
* Confident working with data and communicating findings in a clear, accessible way.
* Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple competing deadlines.
* A "completer-finisher" approach with strong attention to detail.
