Hays are recruiting an International Tax Manager on behalf of a leading global advisory firm - London or Cambridge-based with hybrid working

About the Role
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of UK-listed and multinational clients on high-impact projects such as:
1. International tax structuring and cross-border planning
2. Business reorganisations and operating model redesign
3. Global expansion strategies and BEPS implementation
4. Tax controversy support and strategic policy response
Key Responsibilities
5. Delivering high-quality international tax advice aligned with clients' commercial goals
6. Managing complex advisory projects including structuring, refinancing, and reorganisations
7. Collaborating with global specialists across departments and jurisdictions
8. Coaching junior team members and contributing to their development
9. Building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities
10. Leading proposals, tenders, and client pitches
11. Supporting business development alongside senior leadership
What our client is looking for
12. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications
13. Strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge
14. Experience with multinational clients (preferred but not essential)
15. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
16. Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to client solutions
17. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
18. Passion for continuous learning and technical excellence
