Enterprise B2B marketing is being rebuilt — from team-heavy demand gen functions into small, AI-augmented squads where humans direct, software executes, and the target state is designed before it's staffed. This is not a senior demand gen leadership role; it's a mandate to diagnose how this business takes itself to market today, design the AI-native model that replaces it, and direct what gets built. If your strongest credential is the team you used to run, this isn't your role. We are hiring for the mindset, judgement, and AI fluency to design the next operating model, not the experience of having led the last one.

You will be responsible for designing and executing the demand generation and ABM strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth for Copperleaf's enterprise accounts across key industries, built around AI-powered account intelligence rather than volume-led campaign execution. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, with a strong focus on accelerating growth in priority markets and accounts.

As a senior leader, you will lead a team spanning campaign management, customer marketing, digital/web, and marketing operations — and drive its evolution into a leaner, AI-augmented operating model. The design and build-out of our emerging GTM engineering capability sits at the centre of this shift and is yours to own.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Demand Generation Strategy & Pipeline Ownership

* Define and drive the global always-on demand generation approach - shaping the inbound and outbound strategy and enabling the team to execute and optimize multi-channel programs that deliver sustained pipeline creation.
* Lead customer lifecycle marketing programs to drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention - partnering closely with Customer Success to maximize expansion across the existing customer base.
* Own net new pipeline generation across target accounts - establishing account-based and outbound plays that penetrate priority accounts and convert high-value prospects into qualified opportunities.
* Own account, segment, and market prioritization across global demand generation - defining target audiences, ABM strategy, and coverage models to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities.
* Drive the performance, infrastructure, and scalability of the demand generation engine - ensuring the channels, systems, data, and processes (including GTM automation) are in place to deliver efficient, predictable pipeline growth.

GTM Infrastructure, Data & Operational Excellence

* Define the vision and roadmap for Copperleaf’s GTM systems and data infrastructure - establishing what “good” looks like across automation, integration, and scalability to support revenue growth.
* Partner with Marketing Operations / GTM Engineering to design and scale automated workflows across marketing, sales, and customer success - improving pipeline velocity and operational efficiency.
* Ensure the GTM technology ecosystem operates as a connected, high-performing platform - driving alignment across CRM, marketing automation, data enrichment, and emerging AI capabilities.
* Continuously identify and remove operational bottlenecks - enabling the team to improve processes, increase automation, and scale efficiently.

Team Leadership

Lead and grow a high-performing team across the following functions, with direct reports including:

* Customer Marketing – driving retention, expansion, and advocacy programs for existing customers.
* Senior Digital Manager – owning the corporate website and digital experience.
* Campaign Managers (x2) – executing integrated marketing campaigns across segments.
* Marketing Operations – managing marketing technology, data, and process infrastructure.

Qualifications

* Essential: extensive international SaaS B2B marketing experience, with a strong track record of leading demand generation and driving measurable pipeline growth in enterprise or complex sales environments.
* Essential: Experience in B2B software or SaaS industries with a strong understanding of long sales cycles, enterprise buying groups, and account-based strategies.
* Essential: demonstrable track record in leading & managing a globally diverse team
* Comfort designing process and operating models, not just running campaigns but able to draw a target state, defend it, and direct others to build toward it.
* Working literacy with AI-native GTM patterns: prompt and orchestrate AI effectively, exercise editorial judgement on AI output, and recognise where AI augmentation genuinely changes outcomes versus where it doesn't.
* Proven experience owning or contributing to pipeline targets, with a clear understanding of how marketing drives revenue across acquisition and expansion.
* Strong understanding of modern demand generation approaches, including inbound, outbound, and account-based marketing, and how to apply them across different segments and markets.
* Proven ability to operate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

Please note: This is a remote position; however, the role is UK‑based and candidates must have the right to work in the UK. The interview process is expected to include at least one in‑person stage.
