Job Description: Senior Systems Test Engineer (P4)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Roll-over potential)
Pay Rate: £33.66 per hour
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Position Overview:
Envisage is seeking a recognized Subject Matter Expert for the role of Senior Systems Test Engineer (Level D). This is a specialist professional (P4) position within our EB & EC Labs department, focusing on Compliance, Testing, Homologation, and Safety. You will be responsible for synthesizing complex customer contractual needs into robust system test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems.
• Coordinate and lead integrated testing activities across multiple departments to ensure system integrity.
• Perform deep technical analysis of systems and prepare comprehensive, high-level system evaluations.
• Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure the absolute completeness of the test program.
• Manage large-scale projects or processes with minimal oversight, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Act as a coach to lower-level professionals, reviewing their work and delegating tasks effectively to ensure team growth and quality output.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Systems Test Analyst or Engineer, typically obtained through advanced education and significant industry experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve difficult and complex technical issues within the testing lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Homologation and Safety standards relevant to systems engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage resources, and navigate technical constraints.
• Highly developed ability to synthesize technical data into reports for stakeholders.
