We're looking for a qualified, highly organised Paralegal to join our EMEA Legal team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our EMEA Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting company secretarial functions and managing commercial contracts and agreements. Your responsibilities will include assisting with compliance and corporate governance administration, while collaborating closely with other legal team members. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will provide essential legal administrative support and serve as a point of contact and escalation in their absence due to travel or leave.
To be successful in your application, you will need to hold a degree in law and be LPC or CILIX qualified with at least 2 years' experience working in an in-house legal team or large commercial team in private practice.
As the role will entail significant interaction with the Company's business colleagues, we are looking for exemplary interpersonal skills, along with effective time‑management and organisational ability to manage an ever‑changing workload where accuracy and attention to detail is crucial.
This role will be based at our Cirencester office (hybrid working)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide ad hoc support for large contract negotiations
* Assist with analysis, contract summaries and legal research
* Respond to routine legal enquiries in a timely manner (such as basic contract and company information)
* Escalate enquiries to the Associate General Counsel as appropriate
* Review basic contracts (such as NDAs, contract amendments/addendums and contracts for the supply of goods and services)
* Ensure business compliance with contract approval and signature policies
* Assist with company secretarial matters such as management of company books, liaison with external counsel in relation to filing of annual returns, UBOs, KYC, changes to registered offices
* Draft documents such as letters to Companies House, Companies House forms and/or e‑filing form, appointment and resignation letters of directors and company secretaries and board minutes
* Proof‑reading and amending of corporate documents
* Provide support on run‑rate sales contracts
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
* Law Degree
* LPC or CILIX qualification
* Previous experience as a Paralegal with proficiency in supporting lawyers (2 years+)
* Commercially focussed
* Confident and articulate interpersonal skills – written and verbal
* Competent time management and prioritisation skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
* Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
