Senior Director, Global Marketing ALLEVYN

Senior Director, Advanced Wound Care, Global Marketing

As the Senior Director of AWC Global Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our wound care strategy across some of the biggest and focused brands in AWM. Your responsibilities will span across all markets, motivating and leading the global marketing team and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive growth and innovation.
The role leads the strategic development and portfolio management of the ALLEVYN range (and other exudate management brands) and LEAF for pressure injury prevention, ensuring clear direction for brand, NPD, product, category and market access development, plus overseeing the effective delivery of brand strategy and appropriate downstream marketing programs.
The role requires strong cross-functional leadership across the team and ability to engage with key stakeholders to build consensus for an aligned ALLEVYN/ LEAF strategy reflective of the global vision whilst ensuring local market opportunities are realized.


What will you be doing?

* Market Landscape and development
Build clear understanding of key dynamics including clinical trends, care delivery and payer landscape that shapes AWC strategy
Strong collaboration with the Downstream teams/Business Unit leaders in the execution of global strategy
Champion the need and oversee the process for robust intelligence on market dynamics including competitive landscape, market share, and environmental factors impacting the product
Lead market development opportunities through to business case approval
* Voice of the Customer
Partner strategically with key opinion leaders, patient organization leaders, and end users
Builds insights and knowledge of the customer and market and communicates this internally.
Creates and drives successful customer orientated marketing plans.
Assesses the brand health and defines the brand and commercial needs (margin, competitor advantage, and positioning and value propositions).
* NPD Roadmap and Lifecycle Management
Commercial lead for R&D roadmap to build innovation plan that drives strong profitable and sustainable growth
Leading business case development in conjunction with key markets and the cross-functional NPD, Regulatory, clinical and manufacturing teams.
Responsible for leading the new product launch effectiveness program across key markets and regions to ensure business case targets are achieved.


What will you need to be successful?

* Degree in either a business, medical or science discipline is required.
* Post graduate qualification in business or marketing desirable
* Driving license required for business travel
* At least 10 years of experience in commercial roles in Medical Devices, with a positive track record of direct influence to results, and demonstrable growth in seniority.
* Substantial experience in a related marketing/ commercial role that includes new product commercialisation, with working experience in both upstream and downstream marketing (and ideally including sales experience).
* Previous experience in a regional or global marketing role is preferred.
* International travel required (up to 40%) as well as frequent travel to other UK sites.
