Assistant Manager

Due to an existing success and long-term partnerships in a high-growth sector, we're exclusively recruiting for an experienced Assistant Manager with a background in Retail, Hospitality, Events, or Building Management.

This opportunity offers a high level of autonomy working together with, and reporting to, the General Manager. You'll also work with internal teams and strengthen existing external relationships through fantastic service and SLA management.

The ideal Assistant Manager will demonstrate the ability to:

1. Help develop operations strategy focused on both financial gain, operational efficiencies, and improved customer satisfaction that supports business growth targets and the business plan.
2. Develop an ongoing strategy and annual business plan in conjunction with the General Manager.
3. Manage events - organise and manage exciting and engaging social events.
4. Support the Sales and Marketing Teams during events and other initiatives.
5. Maintain Health and Safety compliance, audits, and reports.
6. Manage SLA delivery to ensure these are met and exceeded.
7. Coordinate Building Maintenance and Facilities Management liaising with the facilities team.
8. Positively contribute to the development, review, and management of company-wide policies and procedures.
9. Coach, lead and focus your team to deliver a first-class experience and service.

What we look for in the ideal Assistant Manager:
1. Minimum 3 years' management experience in a Retail, Hospitality, Leisure, or Events background.
2. A passionate can-do attitude.
3. A strong and natural from-the-front leader.
4. A leader who is analytical, accountable, and can work at a fast pace.
5. Passionate in delivering five-star service and experience.
6. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
7. Be a self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic individual.

The hours for the role are: 5/7 so some weekend work required; however, predominantly Mon-Fri.

You may work the occasional Saturday to attend and run events, but you'll be glad to know you can take your day back in lieu.

You get all your Sundays and all Bank Holidays to yourself. Yes, you heard that right, they're all yours!
